Best “how-to” TV producer book?
Hi guys,
I want to know what you think is the best book out there for TV producers? If it’s in the field of sportscasting all the better. Also, I’m a fast learning very tech savvy newbie!
I searched on amazon and BN, lots of books w/o many reviews.
These are the books I found there:
Shooting Action Sports: The Ultimate Guide to Extreme Film making
Sportscasters/Sportscasting: Principles and Practices
The Business of TV Production
Television Production, Fourteenth Edition
Fundamentals of Television Production
Producing for TV and New Media, Second Edition: A Real-World Approach for Producers
Directing and Producing for Television, Third Edition: A Format Approach
P.S. I just hope this is the correct category!
REad as many of these as you can. I like the sound of all but the first two. Producers are the money men behind the show, they find the investors and arrange all the business matters for the show.
