Panasonic 3D active shutter glasses technology licensing is about to begin

Corporation and X6D Corporation (XPAND 3D) has announced to support the development of a compatible 3D TV, 3D projectors, 3D cinema, 3D active shutter glasses and the standard M-3DI (*), for sub-standard, television, theater system and some of the industry’s major projector companies: Sichuan Changhong, Funai Electric Co., Ltd., Qingdao Hisense, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Seiko Epson, SIM2 Multimedia SpA, ViewSonic and other businesses agreed to participate in the standards. It is reported, M-3DI’s license by M-3DI licensing agent starting from April 2011.
In 2010, the major TV companies offering full HD 3D TV and created a new era of home entertainment, so at home watching high-definition 3D images possible. 3D TV is rapidly growing popularity, but because of all the company’s own use of 3D active shutter glasses and the communication protocol between the 3D TV, 3D active shutter glasses so the lack of interchangeability. The purpose of this standard is implemented through a unified technical standards to solve this problem, so that consumers can be more convenient, more comfortable and enjoy 3D content, thus expanding the 3D entertainment market.
M-3DI’s license will provide 3D active shutter glasses and 3D TV, 3D projectors, 3D home cinema (XPAND way) between the communication protocol.
